When we sent new LEGO® parts to Alice Finch she got her sons involved in the Parts Festival fun! We saw many of their resulting builds last year but today we showcase an epic Star Wars diorama built entirely by Thorin (aged 16) as well as a gunship.

Let's take a closer look!
This alien animal skeleton uses the Technic Wire Clip, W/ Cross Hole in White ( 49283 | 6278194 ), and the local flora of the planet includes a cactus – made simply from Plant, W/ 3.2 Shaft, No. 2 in Bright Bluish Green/ Dark Turquoise ( 49577 | 6262134 ) but it also serves a second, practical purpose: holding up the posed minifigs!
Droidika uses mechanical arms from the bag Mini Accessory, No. 11 in Silver Metallic ( 50018 | 6266977 ).
This wall paneling on the fuelling station is Brick 1X6X4 1/3, W/ 4.85 Hole, No. 1 in Dark Stone Grey/ Dark Bluish Gray ( 49699 | 6263879 ).
The fuel cell the droid carries uses two Sphere 3X3X11/3, W/ Knob in Medium Stone Grey/ Light Bluish Gray ( 49308 | 6263183 ) with the mechanical arms from 50018 again.
As for this round cargo container, it uses Plate 4X4, Circle, W/ 2 Knobs ( 32627 | 6250188).
This chicken walker uses the fan-shaped accessory from Mini Accessory, No. 10 in Silver Metallic/ Flat Silver ( 40598 | 6266155).
Motorcycle Rims Ø 75 Solid ( 46334 | 6268590) are used for the transmission beacon, along with the 3x3 dome again and Fabuland Ship Wheel in Medium Stone Grey ( 52395 | 6278555 ).

The ‘greebling bags’ 40598 and 50018 here contributed to the turrets, nose, missiles and missile holders.
