This is a very cute GwP, even if you don’t play D&D. (Mimics are shapechangers and they just love pretending to be treasure chests!) It’s useful too - it’s fairly spacious inside.
The (four!) eyes are a new print, on orange round 1x1 tiles.
Even the chest itself is characterful, especially the chunky hinges at the rear.
Apart from the eyes, there are no exclusive recolours or rare elements… but I was immediately struck by how many useful parts are included, and there’s plenty of dark grey and reddish brown. A good parts pack, for the size of the set!
This cutie has stayed built on my desk since April… but I know sooner or later I'll need to steal some of those great parts!
