Pick a Brick update: How to download your cart

Posted by Admin

The development team at LEGO® Pick a Brick have released another awesome update to the service that LEGO builders have been asking for: you can now download a list of the elements in your shopping cart.

The cart list is saved as a basic CSV file (with the element ID and desired quantity) on your device. US and Canada shoppers can then upload to Pick a Brick again at a later date – thanks to the new upload feature added recently. (The feature is coming to the rest of the world, but is taking longer because of the shift away from Standard elements.)

See how to do it below, but first, a couple of updates for you: at time of writing, Pick a Brick has been restocked with the following popular items including orange Classic Space and Wolfpack torsos:

Search PaB for
element 6295181
Lego orange space torso
Search PaB for
element 6486043
Lego red panda animal
Search PaB for
element 6490318
Lego Castle Wolfpack torso

And the Nazgul torso is still in stock... EXCEPT in North America:

Search PaB for
element 6490187
Lego Lord of the Rings Nazgul ringwraith torso

Hot tip: Apparently "Standard" elements do now actually count towards Gift with Purchase thresholds, despite the terms and conditions stating otherwise. The Books Are My Passion GwP is still running in some countries including North America, Germany and Italy, so this is a good chance to grab it.

How to save your Pick a Brick cart

It's really easy to download your cart of bricks from LEGO Pick a Brick; here is a 3-step visual guide. This shows the process on desktop, but it is just the same on mobile.

Step 1: After picking bricks, view the items in your cart by clicking the first of the 3 buttons at the bottom of your screen.

Step 2: Click the download icon. This appears just after the link "Remove All ... Elements".

Step 3: Simply click the "Download" button. (There is also an option there to pick the file format you want, however at time of writing, the only option is CSV.)

Step 4: You will be prompted to save the file on your device. At a later date, when you actually want to buy the pieces, check if they are still in your bag. If not, upload the CSV to bring them back!

We're thrilled by all this fantastic progress at Pick a Brick and looking forward to seeing what comes next!

  1. This is amazing! Thank you lego and thank you New Elementary for communicating with lego about this. We keep a digital inventory of all our elements, and this should save me so much time!!!!!
