Review: 40756 Lucky Knots GwP from LEGO® Lunar New Year

Posted by Caz Mockett
the mostly golden, yellow and red lego parts required to build 40756 Lucky Knots GwP

LEGO® Lunar New Year (aka Chinese Traditional Festival) sets have become increasingly popular since their introduction in 2019. As well as two new releases this year – 80116 Trotting Lantern and 80117 Good Fortune, which I recently looked at the new parts of and shall be reviewing in full very soon – we also get a Gift with Purchase (GwP) in this theme, 40756 Lucky Knots. Now I'm going to take a closer look at the set itself.

Between 1 and 7 January 2025, all purchases of the LEGO® Icons 10350 Tudor Corner set will receive 40757 Corner Kiosk as a free gift with purchase (GwP), while stocks last – and it already appears to be sold out in some countries.

We have already taken an in-depth look at 10350 Tudor Corner, so now let's open the GwP for a closer look.

Review: 30701 Field Flowers from LEGO® Botanicals

Posted by Eero

There has never been a LEGO® Botanicals polybag; but in 2025 there will be a LEGO Botanicals paper-based bag! It seems that polybags are so 2024 and next year's small impulse sets will be stored in something else. I like this change – the grainy print of the paper section feels more appropriate to this set. It's a bit like the seed bags sold to gardeners.
