LEGO® Pick a Brick: new elements added in January 2025

Posted by Admin

LEGO® Pick a Brick (PaB) have added new elements to the service. These are pieces from sets released in September 2024.

This is despite their backlog of orders, which we understand from many readers is now exceeding the delivery times shown on the site. We have an update from the Pick a Brick team: continue reading to see it.

Important notes from PaB team

  • There are errors – some elements on the list are not actually on PaB.
  • Some of the elements will only be available in Europe, Australia and New Zealand for a limited time, while supplies last. We have shown these on the list with a dotted line around the images.
  • The 'Standard' elements service is still closed in North America, and so some of the elements on the list will only be available there once the service reopens for this region.
  • Regarding delivery delays, the team are committed to fulfilling all open orders as quickly as possible. The delays are due to the implementation of new software and hardware in the Billund warehouse back in October, aimed at improving overall operations. As with any new system, there are initial challenges, and the team is adapting to these changes. They anticipate that the situation will improve within the next two weeks, particularly as the influx of replacement part requests from the Christmas holiday subsides. They are currently working with their customer service team to reach out to all customers impacted.

  1. I swear, if the retired parts in my October and November orders end up being cancelled because of some "software error" I won't be buying from PaB again.

    1. Same, I've got some parts which aren't available anymore in mine and those were the reason I made the order in the first place

    2. funny enough, I just got notification of shipment for those parts that I ordered

    3. I’m probably not ordering from there anymore anyways. Just horrendous service, I honestly can’t believe it. I ordered months in advance and didn’t have any of my stocking stuffers or Christmas gift parts delivered, and was told 4 weeks in a row that they would ship “next week” when I talked to someone. One rep comp’d me a gift card for the trouble, and Lego’s fulfillment team cancelled it before it was sent. By far the worst customer service I’ve experience from Lego, super disappointing. Bricklink only from now on.

    4. My order from October 9th (which included retired parts) arrived last week in the US. I am hearing from others that October orders are moving. This timeline is definitely wack but at least it's happening.

    5. Yeah, I'm really nervous about this. So many parts are still in limbo. If something from early October just arrived, then maybe I'll have something within a week or two though.

    6. I have some outstanding (arguably not that outstanding) orders since November.

I haven't had anyone reaching out to me, yet, though. Oh well, hopefully the orders will arrive soon...

  2. Any word on when parts that were "standard" and disappeared when the "standard" and "best seller" categories were merged will return?
    Some examples:
    1748 TILE 1X2, W/ 1/2 CIRCLE > Dark Green
    35243 WINDSCREEN 36 GR. 3X4X1 1/3 > Transparent
    3576 KITCHEN EQUIPMENT, NO. 9 > Transparent
75184 KITCHEN EQUIPMENT, NO. 5 > Dark Orange
    5951 BACKPACK > Bright Red

    1. Seems some are returning
6481576 MINI LOWER PART, NO. 2654 was gone and had yesterday finally returned

    2. Indeed, 4 of the 5 parts I listed above are back now, as well as some others, hopefully all will be back soon!

  3. I placed and paid an order back October, 13th, 2024. The order was shipped from Poland December, 19th, 2024. Over Christmas DPD seems to have massive struggles. Today, January, 8th, 2025 the DPD tracking tells me I can pick up my 100 Euro order at a nearby pick up shop. Hope that is the truth and the order is complete? My November order is still "in the warehouse" ... Really disappointing, couldn't LEGO just buy some expertise from Bricklink power sellers?

  4. Today I received a PAB order I placed on 08/OCT/2024, so pretty much exactly 3 months wait. I guess when these big warehouse and software changes happen, there will be interruptions, so I think that's understandable. These delays should have been better communicated though, proactively by LEGO, without having to reach out to support to understand what's going on. Something LEGO can definitely improve on.

  5. Sweet, the red wax drip from the candle. Been waiting on that one

  6. Why can't they make those newly added pieces as newest... always mixed with the older parts despite sorting by newest...

    1. They're sorted on when they were added to the database, but not shown publicly until they're made available for orders, I believe.

  7. My standard parts order from Late October (which includes parts that have now retired) has shipped as of a few days ago.
