Lego Iconic 40764 Easter Bunny Surprise – reveal

This sweet bunny-box with a tiara of flowers looks a bit like a planter growing ears! What's the reason for this unusual shape, and what is the "surprise" mentioned?

Spoilers....

the March/April Lego gift with purchase Easter Bunny Surprise. The lid with ears and floral tiara has been removed and the box head swung open to show a lego scene inside

It is a box, with a woodland scene inside! A squirrel nestles among an oak tree stump while in the other half is a rabbit with carrot, and what I guess is its hutch. Someone is clearly having an Easter egg hunt, as there is one to be found on each half of the model.

the opened box with interior senes removed, of lego gwp for march and/or april 2025, Easter Bunny Surprise 40764

The scenes are removable for play, leaving a layer of colourful tiles behind.

Here's is my little animation of building the set!

Elements

There are no new elements here, but some interesting rare ones. Most notably, two of Panel 2 x 8 x 4 with Curved Sides in White (6535795 | 7323) which is a 2025 mould you probably haven't noticed yet, because it is for young builders. There are four colours of part 7323 so far, each appearing in one set.

This is an excellent little botanical parts pack: 5 of the new sunflower mould (6901) are supplied – 2 in bright light blue and 3 in yellow; and 6 of the recent tulip mould (5903) are provided – half are bright pink, and half yellow.

While not new, it's neat to get a Tile Round 1 x 1 in Medium Nougat with Small Acorn Print (84554) and two Food Egg with 1.5mm Hole in Bright Light Orange (24946), and I will never say no to adding another bunny (49584) and squirrel (98480) to my collection.

The rear of the box shows the sticker sheet, clearly encouraging builders to place them as they see fit. Look at that adorable fluffy bunny tail! (Plate Special 2 x 3 with Cloud Edge, part 5518.)

  1. It was nice to get the double points, but man, that bunny was a rubbish GWP. I guess the flowers were nice.
