LEGO® Spring Festival set 80116 Trotting Lantern is the largest of the 2025 Chinese Traditional Festival releases. I have already reviewed 80117 Good Fortune and the accompanying Gift with Purchase 40756 Lucky Knots, as well as a thorough run-down of all of the new and interesting parts in these sets, so I won't be going over the new elements in any detail here. Instead, I will give you a flavour of the build experience of this set.

3x3PO Parts Fest: Introducing the elements

Posted by Eero

Not long ago a Jawa Sandcrawler rolled steadily into New Elementary Farm. Myself, Caz and Ben (Davies, not the old Kenobi) needed someone who spoke Bocce, so we got three copies of LEGO® Star Wars™ 75398 C-3PO

A variety of Pearl Gold LEGO elements

In the end we lost our interest in speaking Bocce pretty soon, so we demolished the droids to make MOCs. So welcome to the 3x3PO fest, the hottest MOC-building festival in this galaxy not that far away. But before we show you what we made, I'll show you the interesting parts in the set. Be ready for many pearl gold recolours!

Sets review: LEGO® Fortnite™ October 2024 sets and PaB availability in 2025

Posted by Zachary Hill

The LEGO Group has treated gamers to a number of video game collaborations, though few go as deep as their Fortnite partnership. What started as broad inclusion of LEGO® elements and minifigures in-game has now rifted over into the physical world with four sets that are almost as varied as the numerous LEGO game modes within Fortnite. Having already reviewed new parts in LEGO Fortnite sets, today I look at the actual models.

These sets released in October 2024, and many of their new elements arrived on LEGO Pick a Brick earlier this week. Check out the recoloured elements and new moulds on New E's list of new PaB elements for February!

International LEGO® Day 2025: moulding knowledge quiz

Posted by Elspeth De Montes

28 January marks the "birthday" of the LEGO® brick — the anniversary of the day in 1958 when the patent of the LEGO System 2x4 brick was submitted to the trademark office in Denmark. This is celebrated today as International LEGO Day.

As a way to celebrate as only New Elementary can, we decided to test your LEGO moulding knowledgeby posing a series of questions on our social media asking you to identify items in an image. Here are the questions and also the answers, so let's see how many you have right.

LEGO® Pick a Brick: new elements added in February 2025

Posted by Admin

In February 2025, LEGO® Pick a Brick (PaB) added new elements to the service. These are pieces from sets released in October 2024.

Given people are still waiting for October 2024 orders, we understand why many of you will not be ordering anything, but we will continue publishing these lists in the meantime. We have no further update from the Pick a Brick team, so we assume the situation the explained last month is still the case.
